Malcolm Smith has very kindly shared these documents he has kept from 1985. Eh, but, they did things proper in them days.

Interesting that this was held at the Corner on North Bay, now demolished with flats and shops in its place.

Geoff’s photograph shows us that this was taken at the 50th Charter Dinner, 21 September 1985. Geoff tells us that those in the photo are:
left to right:
Frank Winn [Geoff’s father – Ed]: Chairman RT 1936/37, Chairman 41 Club 1966/67;
Ralph Rowntree: Chairman RT 1940/41 (part year as then went to war, I assume!), Chairman 41 Club 1964/65;
Doris McCloy;
David McCloy: first Chairman RT 1935/36, Chairman 41 Club 1957/58, Area Chairman RT 1936/37.
