The March 41 Club meeting took the form of an evening with St George at Scarborough Yacht Club, albeit a tad early in the year! As ever catering officer Tom Cathcart had organised another fun packed evening. We sat down to a three course meal ; lobster bisque, venison casserole, and a selection of sweets.
Tom Cathcart then regaled those present with the origins of St George and his influence on English heritage. Next we enjoyed a quiz on English history won by Malcolm Smith and yours truly, along with Richard Clark, seriously good beer was given as the prize.
By way of a finale TC had organised a gin tasting session, the evening ended as members weaved their way home, fortunately nobody falling in to the harbour. All in all another excellent 41 Club meeting.
